I recently got a new computer and I was playing with Garage Band and Photoshop this afternoon. Although I didn't create anything worth sharing on Garage Band, here is a photo for fun!

Luminous-Lee
I think that everyone has had their turn out in the night with sparklers and a long exposure on the camera, but I went on a camp mid last year and got it out for the kids and they loved it! It never gets old.
Here are some of the best!

I was going through photos and found this one I took of a lizard while I was on holidays over summer.

Sister-Lee
I had a sewing day awhile back and made this pillow case for my sister. She just got her room redone and it looks super cute in pinks and greens and blues. My sewing is not the best, but I think I did alright for a first attempt and making it up on the spot.
I did all the sewing on the machine except for the heart and 'H' I embroidered.
I found these super cute buttons for the back.
Don't look too closely at the button holes, but appreciate the buttons!

Here are some photos I have 'created.' I actually had these printed, although just small prints, I'd like to get them done bigger one day, but I have to decide where I would put them. Maybe when I have my own place I can get them done nicely...

Huge-Lee
I am beginning a huge creation at the moment. A Thesis. Yes, Thesis with a capital T. I have just begun my honours year at uni and am writing a thesis on the significance of the Shoalhaven River for young people as seen through participatory mapping.
What this means is that I go down to Nowra (the town on the river), get some groups of kids together and ask them to draw on a map where they like to go on the river and what things they do there and who they go with, etc... then I analyse the maps and what they say and find out the significance of the river. It sounds so simple!
I have until October to do all this, write it all up and continue reading the academic literature surrounding it. I have up to 25,000 words. Today I submitted a 10-page introductory outline. Off to a (hoppefully) good start!

First-Lee
I love making things. I love nothing better than starting a new project. However, so many of my projects begin and fly for awhile before succumbing to the 'craft cupboard/shelf' only to be discovered years later, covered in dust and out of fashion, never to be finished.
Recently I have actually finished some projects! Hooray! And so, although quite narcissistic of me, I have created a blog to help me celebrate these accomplishments and see things through.
